5 Day Commercial Single Engine Course
Prerequisites (per 14 CFR 61.129(a))
- 236 Flight Hours or 186 Flight Hours and 50 Hours in a simulator or FTD
- 86 Hours powered aircraft, 36 in airplanes
- 86 Hours PIC, including at least
- 36 Hours in airplanes
- 46 Hours cross-country with at least 6 in airplanes
- 10 Hours instrument training, at least 5 in a single-engine airplane (not including PPL training)
- 10 Hours solo flight in a single-engine airplane, including at least
- 300nm cross-country with landings at 3 points, at least one point greater than 250nm from point of original departure
- 5 Hours in night VFR conditions with 10 takeoffs and landings (each landing involving a flight in the traffic pattern) at an airport with an operating control tower
- Knowledge test passed

- 10 Hours dual PA-28R Arrow
- 25 Hours ground instruction
